Baroque Works is set to exert significant influence in the forthcoming season on Netflix of One Piece, though the major clash isn’t set to occur until the next season, and a beloved, audience-beloved member has just been cast.

The streaming service revealed recently that the skilled actor has joined the One Piece season 3 cast and will portray Mr. 2. This character has the ability to morph into an exact copy of anyone they’ve laid a hand on with their main hand. The performer, who is gender non-conforming and goes by they/them, will play a interpretation of that role reinterpreted as gender non-binary, as opposed to as a drag artist, in the real-life adaptation, as in the source material and anime.

The new cast member joins multiple new cast members who will portray the group to life, such as leader Mr. 0, portrayed by the well-known actor, an emerging star as a key member, and Sendhil Ramamurthy, who also joins the lineup as the ruler of the fictional land.

Though this character is a key figure of the organization, the persona won’t appear until One Piece the third season. Considering season 2 set to cover the Little Garden segment, this marks a notable change in the schedule of Bon Clay’s introduction, one that could signal more adjustments to the plot development.
